Our B&B is located in the Directional Centre of Milan, Zone 2 and offers very convenient connections with the Metro, trains and urban and interurban public transport for every need. There are many destinations in Milan that can be easily reached by transport, but also on foot.
The B&B is very close to the lively Isola district (10 minutes on foot) with a great choice of bars, restaurants, ice-cream parlours and entertainment venues such as the famous Blue Note in via Borsieri.
In Piazzale Lagosta there is a fixed local market and stall markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Continuing south from the Isola you can reach the brand new Piazza Gae Aulenti and then head down Corso Como, one of Milan’s trendiest pedestrian streets, which leads directly to Piazza XXV Aprile, where you can visit the unmissable Eataly. You can also walk to the Duomo or Castello Sforzesco along Corso Garibaldi and the Brera district.
Also within easy reach are: Alcatraz, Teatro Verdi, Palazzo Regione Lombardia, Pio X Humanitas, Isola, S. Siro Stadium.
Getting around Milan by public transport:
Less than 300 meters from the B&B we have 2 underground lines:
the Yellow Line MM3 (in the direction of “San Donato” you arrive in Piazza del Duomo in 10 minutes, getting off at the sixth stop).
The Lilla MM5 line, on the other hand, connects with Porta Garibaldi Station, where you can take the Green MM2 line that leads to the Navigli (MM2 metro line towards “Abbiategrasso-Assago”, “Porta Genova” stop, “Via Casale” exit.
Nearby are the stops for buses 60, 70, 90, 91 and 92 and trams 5, 7 and 33.
Tickets can be purchased in all underground stations, from ATM Points and from authorised retailers (bars, tobacconists, stationers, newsagents).
